Syracuse Orange vs California Golden Bears preview
Syracuse has a chance to start the year 2-0 and add an ACC win. Is this a "good" matchup?
The Syracuse Orange are 1-0. Wahoo. Expected, but probably the biggest story had nothing to do with the big win over New Hampshire, but with quarterback Steve Angeli. The QB appeared to injure his leg in the waning moments of the game, but insisted after the game he is fine.
Thankfully, it appears if he was correct and not listed on the weekly injury report.
Injury Report
The initial injury report for Syracuse-Cal is out. Syracuse actually listed Calvin Russell as questionable. Hughes/Wilfong are out. No other big names out for the Orange. Cal does not have any players listed out and quarterback Jaron-Keave Sagapolutele is not on the report.

No Angeli? Great. Calvin Russell III questionable? Should not be taken seriously but very interesting that he is at least ready to do pregame warmups. Losing WR Terrell Wilfong and DB Tedarius Hughes? Not ideal, but I think both position groups have enough depth to weather any extended absence.
